Music Education Programs
One of the primary missions of the South Arkansas Symphony is to educate, entertain, and inspire the audiences of the future. To accomplish this purpose musicians, conductors, and staff work closely with school officials to implement programs of value that correlate with curricular goals.
Three programs are being offered to schools around South Arkansas. First, Children's Concerts are offered as a way for students to hear music with a professional full piece orchestra. Second, small chamber groups make special appearances to talk specifically about their instruments, and then special masterclasses with guests artists are arranged for performance at indiviudal school sites.
